Flow of importing cosmetics from
overseas and selling it in Japan

A. Things to submit

1. 1, Ingredient tables of cosmetics (display blending amount as much as possible)
2. 2, COA (Analysis certificate in the country of origin) (submitted as much as possible)
3. 3, Samples for cosmetic inspection (2 each / unopened form)

B. Procedure flow

(Procedure stops at that stage for products with problems, then contact the client)

1. 1. Check of ingredient tables
2. 2. Inspection and analysis of samples
3. 3. Administrative procedure
4. 4. Pick up cargo (if necessary)
5. 5. Customs clearance correspondence
6. 6. Inspection and labeling in our company (Labeling required by the Pharmaceutical Affairs Act)
7. 7. Delivery to designated warehouse

C. Major transportation means

1. 1. Air Mail: DHL, FEDEX / Freight pickup available in foreign country,
2. Corresponding customs division directly.
3. 2. EMS: Delivery by yourself / Corresponding Tokyo Branch Customs Office
4. for Overseas mail.
5. 3. Air cargo: Delivery by yourself / Handover from each airline.
6. 4. Shipping service: Foreign collaborating forwarders /Freight pickup available
7. in foreign country, Cooperation with domestic customs brokers.
8. 5. Domestic delivery: SAGAWA EXPRESS
